We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Clinical Trials team at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinical trials dispensary.
Main Responsibilities- Dispense clinical trials prescriptions promptly and accurately, adhering to trial protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure the trials service runs efficiently, including stock control, record keeping, and drug accountability.
- Counsel patients on their trial medication and provide training to colleagues in dispensing trials.
- Coordinate the receipt, storage, and supply of clinical trial medication within the pharmacy.
- Provide clerical support to the Senior Technicians and other team members as required.

Requirements- GCSE level (Grade A-C in English and Maths) or equivalent.
- NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or relevant GPhC accredited Training Programme equivalent to Level 2.
- Experience of working in pharmacy, preparing and dispensing prescriptions, ordering and stock management, and working with healthcare professionals.
