Job Overview

The Clinical Trial Coordinator will be responsible for providing support to the Senior Trial Manager and the wider research team in the set up of clinical trials, tracking and invoicing, and processing amendments. This role will also involve administrative and data management tasks, including data entry in accordance with GCP and The Royal Marsden standard operating procedures.

Main Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the day-to-day activities of assigned clinical trials, ensuring they are conducted in accordance with regulatory, sponsor, and organisational requirements.
  • Liaise with R&D, pharmacy, finance, laboratories, and other support departments to assess capacity and capability for trial set up.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of essential trial documentation, including training and delegation logs and compilation of site files.
  • Provide regular reports on trial activity and highlight areas of concern to the department.

Requirements

  • A Life Sciences degree or relevant experience.
  • Experience of working in a clinical trial setting, with a good understanding of GCP and clinical trial regulations.
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office packages and research-oriented PC software.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
