Job Description

This role is perfect for a technical expert who wants to drive digital transformation and lead the technical ecosystem of a major insurance company. As SaaS Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing SaaS solutions that meet business requirements, align with architectural principles, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.

About the Job

  • Salary: Circa £85,000 per annum.
  • Location: Flexible locations, hours, and working patterns to suit our customers, business, and you.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop an outcome-oriented technology product roadmap that brings together deep knowledge of emerging SaaS technology, customer roadmaps, and industry trends.
  2. Ensure the GI technology ecosystem, including SaaS platforms, operates at peak performance, maintaining health, resilience, and stability while adhering to IT risk, audit, and security standards.
  3. Drive engineering excellence through high-performing teams by providing coaching, mentoring, and removing roadblocks, and maximising SaaS capabilities to achieve exceptional outcomes for customers.
  4. Define and realise the target state architecture and technical roadmap for the SaaS ecosystem by aligning with Enterprise Architecture strategy, roadmap, and standards as well as SaaS vendors.
  5. Realise measurable business objectives and outcomes for customers through the product roadmap.
  6. Manage the SaaS platform in a cost-effective manner, streamlining resources and budget, whilst holding the SaaS vendors to account.
Requirements:
  • A proven IT Service and Operational Resilience expert with experience ensuring SaaS ecosystems operate at peak performance.
  • Experience driving engineering excellence through high-performing teams by providing coaching, mentoring, and removing roadblocks, and maximising SaaS capabilities to achieve exceptional outcomes for customers.
  • Ability to optimise resource management: Manage the SaaS platform in a cost-effective manner, streamlining resources and budget, whilst holding the SaaS vendors to account.
