Job Overview

We are seeking two experienced Service Leads to join our team as we embark on this exciting journey. As a Service Lead, you will play a critical role in overseeing care planning for children in need of Child in Need, Child protection, PLO, and court care planning support. You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of professionals, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and support to deliver exceptional services.

Key Responsibilities

  • To lead and manage a team of professionals providing care planning services for children in need of Child in Need, Child protection, PLO, and court care planning support.
  • To oversee the development and implementation of effective care plans, ensuring that they meet the needs of individual children and families.
  • To work collaboratively with other teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and achieve excellent outcomes for children and families.
  • To stay up-to-date with best practice and policy developments, applying this knowledge to inform your work and improve service delivery.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in social care, with experience in care planning and leadership roles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders.
  • The ability to think critically and strategically, with a focus on delivering high-quality services that meet the needs of children and families.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and professional development, with a desire to stay up-to-date with best practice and policy developments.
