Job Title: Early Years Foundation Stage Specialist Support Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) practitioner to join our team as a Specialist Support Assistant. The successful candidate will provide specialist support in the EYFS, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about providing high-quality education and care for young children.

Key Responsibilities:

* Providing specialist support in the EYFS, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures
* Supervising groups and occasionally whole classes for a session in the nursery or outside as required
* Providing a high standard of nurturing and early education, through quality interactions and play, for all children within the setting
* Being proactive, flexible, and a reliable team player, offering support to colleagues when required
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with children, parents, and other settings or agencies to enable all children to develop and flourish with their needs at the forefront of all we do

Requirements:

* Hold an APPROVED Level 3 (or higher) teaching assistant or child care qualification
* Experience of working with and supporting younger children within a school or private setting
* Experience of dealing with intimate care and other self-care needs of younger children
* Understanding of the EYFS curriculum
* Ability to work flexibly, including some hours outside of normal school hours
