About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Support Worker to join our team at Apollo Home Healthcare Ltd. As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver specialized support for complex care needs, including tending to clinical care requirements and establishing a calm and comforting sleep environment.
  • Offer reassurance and support to service users, maintaining a calm and empathetic demeanor in challenging situations.
  • Carry out clinical interventions as required, working closely with the care team to ensure seamless delivery of care.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans, ensuring the unique needs of each service user are met.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 months previous care or support work experience, with a focus on complex care and working with children or young people.
  • Experience in medication administration, personal care, and moving and handling.
  • Ability to commit to working two weekends per month, with flexible hours to suit the needs of the service user.
What We Offer
  • Competitive pay rates, with a starting hourly rate of £11.50 and the potential to increase to £15.50-£18.00 upon successful completion of the training program.
