About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Transport Planner to join our team in Cambridge. As a Senior Transport Planner, you will be responsible for leading and managing small to medium-sized projects, including writing and checking technical reports, preparing appeal documentation, and project managing schemes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write, check and approve technical reports such as Transport Assessments, Transport statements, travel plans and technical notes
- Prepare appeal documentation
- Project manage schemes, including budget and time management
- Client/ officer liaison and management
- Assist with training junior members of staff
- Complete/review/approve planning drawing requirements, such as visibility splays, vehicle tracking diagrams, access designs etc
- Attendance at Public consultation events, project team/client meetings, appeal meetings & local highway authority meetings
- Prepare fee proposals and tenders

Requirements:
- Degree level qualification or equivalent experience
- Membership of relevant professional organization
- At least 4 years of transport planning experience
- Proficient with the use of junction modelling software, such as Arcady and Picady
