About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Support Worker to join our Outpatient Department at KIMS Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our consultants and nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support consultants and nursing staff in delivering high-quality patient care
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Monitor patients' conditions and take vital signs prior to clinic appointments
  • Set up equipment and assist with various procedures, including ECG, Phlebotomy, and minor operations
  • Chaperone patients as required and maintain a safe and respectful environment
Person Specification
  • Essential:
    • Hold a care certificate
    • Have a good standard of general education
    • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Have experience working as a clinical support worker
  • Desirable:
    • Hold an NVQ2 in Health and Social Care
    • Have experience working in an Outpatient's Department
