Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team in West Yorkshire. As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting reactive maintenance and performing preventative maintenance tasks on mechanical machinery, high-pressure boilers, pumps, valves, and other equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform reactive maintenance tasks on mechanical machinery, including gears, motors, conveyors, and bearings.
- Conduct preventative maintenance tasks, including PPM, to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Work collaboratively with production staff and shift supervisors to resolve maintenance issues.
Requirements:
- Mechanical engineering apprenticeship time served or qualified to NVQ L3.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
