About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at ATA Recruitment. As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment, including high-pressure boilers, pumps, valves, and other machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment, including high-pressure boilers, pumps, valves, and other machinery
  • Fix industrial production machinery, including gears, motors, conveyors, and bearings
  • Work safely and make recommendations for improvements
  • Conduct reactive maintenance and preventative maintenance (PPM) on mechanical machinery
Requirements
  • Mechanical engineering apprenticeship or qualified to NVQ L3
  • Good experience with LEAN and Continuous Improvement principles
  • Working to high levels of Health and Safety
  • Able to work autonomously with a 'right first time' mentality
  • Experience within fast-paced manufacturing production environments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
