About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the McLaren Group as a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Specialist. As a key member of the Sustainability team, you will play a critical role in driving the company's DEI agenda forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive DEI strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver inclusive programs and initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Provide expert guidance and support to employees on DEI-related matters, ensuring a culture of inclusivity and respect.
- Work closely with external stakeholders to build partnerships and collaborations that advance DEI goals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key DEI organizations and networks to stay informed about best practices and emerging trends.
- Lead the development and implementation of diversity and inclusion metrics and reporting, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
- Design and deliver training programs and workshops that promote inclusive leadership, unconscious bias, and cultural competence.
- Collaborate with the communications team to develop and implement a comprehensive DEI communications strategy.
- Develop and maintain a DEI dashboard to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership on DEI progress and initiatives.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a DEI role, preferably in a matrixed organization.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful DEI strategies and initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data to inform DEI decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
