We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Supervisor to join our team at Blue Arrow - Newbury. As a Front of House Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pub, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of hospitality professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of hospitality staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with the management team to achieve business objectives and drive sales growth.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including cross-contamination and allergen protocols.
  • Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Upsell products and services to customers, promoting our menu and drinks offerings.
  • Manage conflicts and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and protocols.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
