Compliance Officer Maternity Cover Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to cover a maternity leave at our head office in Shrewsbury. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills and potentially become a permanent member of our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with candidates to ensure they provide the necessary documents for clearance.
  • Verify cloud-based files for each candidate and complete all relevant compliance checks.
  • Communicate daily with consultants to ensure the fastest possible turnaround time for clearing candidates.
  • Prepare and send spreadsheets to confirm weekly payroll and chase up candidate online timesheets.
  • Provide phone support, liaise with candidates and schools in a professional manner, and assist with bookings for supply staff.
  • Resource new candidates, sourcing, attracting, and securing education professionals using our database and job boards.
Requirements:
  • A friendly and personable attitude with a desire to provide outstanding service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with people of all levels.
  • Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience with MS Software programs and previous experience using Candidate Management systems is preferred but not essential.
