Care Home Cleaner Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Care Home Cleaner to join our team at CV-Library.

As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Carry out daily cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, and mopping.
  • Manage laundry services for residents, ensuring their clothing and bedding are cleaned to a high standard.
  • Dispose of waste safely and efficiently, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Monitor and maintain cleaning supplies, reporting when stock needs replenishing.
  • Ensure all cleaning tasks are carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in housekeeping, preferably in a care home or similar environment.
  • A caring and empathetic approach.
  • Driving license essential due to location.

The estimated annual salary for this role is £18,550, offering a competitive package for the right candidate.
