Domestic Care Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Domestic Assistant to join our team at Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group. As a key member of our Housekeeping department, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and environmental cleanliness in our hospital wards, clinics, and departments.
The successful candidate will have excellent cleaning skills and experience working in a domestic environment or similar setting. You must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritise tasks effectively, and maintain a high standard of interpersonal skills. Additionally, you should be able to demonstrate flexibility in your approach to changes in workload, duties, and priorities.
This is a physically demanding role that requires you to spend extended periods on your feet. If you possess the necessary skills, qualifications, and qualities, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and environmental cleanliness in hospital wards, clinics, and departments
- Operate various equipment to carry out cleaning services required
- Demonstrate ability to work with minimum supervision, prioritise tasks effectively, and maintain high interpersonal skills
- Be flexible in approach to changes in workload, duties, and priorities
Requirements:
- Basic general secondary education in English and Maths
- Knowledge of cleaning and food handling procedures
- NVQ Level 2 Support Services or equivalent
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
- Prior experience in housekeeping, preferably in a domestic environment
