Financial Advisor Trainee Role

Our client, a reputable regional firm of Independent Financial Planners in Yorkshire, is seeking a motivated and ambitious Trainee Financial Advisor to join their team. With over 15 years of experience, they have established a strong reputation for providing high-quality, independent financial advice to their clients.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a well-established business, utilizing the support of the Administration and Paraplanning team to deliver exceptional customer service. This role is ideal for a current Paraplanner looking to transition into an IFA role or an experienced IFA seeking a new challenge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend regular meetings with the technical team and colleagues to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Provide efficient remote financial advice to clients, utilizing computer systems to streamline processes.
  • Act in a professional manner at all times, adhering to the FCA Code of Conduct for company representatives.
  • Complete all necessary documentation required by the business, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Requirements:
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships, demonstrating a professional approach and drive to succeed.
  • Strong communication skills, with a working knowledge of computer systems.
  • Hold a Level 4 qualification in Financial Advice as a minimum, with Chartered qualification being a preference.
