Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate the administration team to achieve objectives and promote a healthy and safe working environment.
  • Recruit, onboard, and conduct performance reviews and appraisals for administration staff.
  • Use a diary management system to allocate and track incoming work across the administration teams.
  • Liaise with advisors throughout the advice process and support the production of portfolio and fund analysis reports.
  • Use platforms and liaise with product providers to obtain information about existing and potential investments.
  • Assist the compliance officer to ensure compliance standards are met throughout the financial services department.
  • Support the directors with project work related to business operations improvements.

We are looking for a candidate with management or team leading experience in the financial services industry, preferably from within an independent financial advisory sector. You will have a good understanding of the financial advice sales process, business submission process, and commission and fee payment process. Knowledge of Intelligent Office and/or involvement with systems migrations/upgrades would be advantageous. Additional financial services qualifications, such as a Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning, would also be beneficial.

This is a 1-year fixed-term contract position with a good bonus to be paid at the end of the contract, with the possibility of it being extended or made permanent.
