Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Vistry Group. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for leading the commercial activities on site and ensuring the optimal profitability of contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Optimize the profitability of contracts
  • Ensure contracts achieve the optimum cashflow position
  • Completion and compliance with required contract documentation
  • Presenting and agreeing external valuations with clients
  • Pricing and agreeing variations with clients
  • Prepare and manage key and large risk subcontract accounts
  • Subcontract procurement strategy and implementation
  • Ensure compliance with commercial and company procedures
Requirements:
  • BSC Hons Quantity Surveying or equivalent
  • Proven experience with a Main Contractor or developer
  • Demonstrable strong account management and commercial experience
  • Sub-contract payment recommendation
  • Sub-contract Order recommendation
  • Interim valuation submission and final account recommendation
Desirable:
  • Membership of an industry recognized professional body
  • Training of and understanding of COINs
  • Training of and understanding of 4p (Viewpoint)
  • Management of Assistant Surveyor / Trainee Surveyor
