Key Stage Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our primary school in Waltham Forest. As an HLTA, you will support classroom teachers in delivering high-quality lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
Key Functions:- Assist class teachers in lesson planning, preparation, and delivery.
- Support students with additional learning needs through individual and small group interventions.
- Maintain a positive learning environment and provide pastoral support.
- Collaborate with the class teacher to monitor and assess student progress.
- Help implement behavioural strategies where necessary.
- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably within Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.
- A passion for supporting children's learning and a commitment to their growth.
- A proactive attitude, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- A patient and supportive approach to helping children with varying needs.
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Competitive daily rate: £100 - £120 per day.
