Cyber Security Programme Lead

The Cyber Security Programme Manager at Xcede will oversee the implementation of comprehensive security programmes to protect the information assets of a leading financial technology and data science organisation. This role involves planning, project management, implementing cutting-edge security measures and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that security initiatives align with business objectives and comply with industry regulations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Programme Development: Design and manage security programmes aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements, that address current and emerging threats.
- Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of cybersecurity projects across the organization; ensuring alignment with the overall security strategy.
- Reporting: Develop and deliver clear, concise reports and presentations for executive leadership, summarizing program status, risks, and recommendations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments to integrate security into business processes. Communicate effectively with stakeholders on security matters.
- Support Head of Security: Coordinate and facilitate key cybersecurity governance forums, meetings, and working groups, ensuring that decisions and actions are tracked and followed up.
- Security Culture & Awareness: Drive the development and execution of comprehensive security awareness initiatives tailored to the organization's needs and threat landscape.
About You:
- Experience in cybersecurity and organizational change management/technology enablement, with a focus on leading or enabling large-scale, enterprise-wide cybersecurity transformation initiatives.
- Strong background in program and project management, with experience overseeing complex, multi-disciplinary cybersecurity projects.
- Strategic mindset with a focus on results and delivering value to the organization.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and delivering large-scale training programs, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess the severity of vulnerabilities and prioritize them effectively.
- Experience in preparing reports, presentations, and executive summaries that communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, globally distributed organization.
