Job Summary

Greenwich Health Ltd is seeking a skilled Paramedic Practitioner to join our team in the Primary Care Network. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assess and treat patients with minor illnesses in our daily walk-in clinic
  • Use specialist equipment, including nebulisers and ECG machines, to diagnose and treat patients
  • Undertake routine assessments of patients with acute health problems and/or long-term conditions in their homes, working collaboratively with the duty GP where necessary
  • Provide advice and treatment in collaboration with the duty GP to manage acute symptoms or long-term conditions within patients' own homes, aiming to avoid unnecessary hospital visits
  • Prescribe medications, where applicable, in line with personal clinical competence and local guidelines
  • Take a holistic approach to patient care, addressing medical, social, and psychological needs
  • Encourage patients to take responsibility for managing their own care and treatment, providing health education and support
  • Refer patients to alternative health and/or social services as needed
