We are seeking an experienced and motivated Nurse Trainer to join our team at Fairlie Healthcare in Purley. As a key member of our training team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our clinical staff receive the highest quality training and development opportunities.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering training and development programs to our clinical staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and competencies to provide exceptional patient care.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver training programs to support the development of our clinical staff, including mandatory training and clinical skills development.
  • Work closely with the Director of Clinical Services and L&D Manager to review, develop, and implement competency documents and clinical training pathways.
  • Ensure clinical staff are trained, skilled, and competent to provide high-quality care, preserving their privacy and dignity.
  • Seek out learning opportunities to support the development of our employees, signposting resources and planning internal or external learning opportunities.

Requirements:

We are looking for an individual with a passion for training and development, who is able to demonstrate:

  • Safe and competent patient care
  • Understanding of, or previous experience assessing the Care Certificate
  • Effective communication skills (writing and verbal)
  • Excellent record-keeping, auditing, and evaluation of own practice
