At Goldman Sachs Asset & Wealth Management, we offer a unique opportunity to help clients across the globe achieve their financial goals while you grow your career. As part of our External Investing Group, you will be responsible for leading activities with our growing Private Wealth Management business across key offices in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. You will develop relationships with private wealth advisors and key stakeholders to understand client needs and attend prospective and existing client meetings to discuss our public market views and platform offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead activities with the growing Private Wealth Management business across key offices in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa
  • Develop relationships with private wealth advisors and key stakeholders to understand client needs
  • Attend prospective and existing client meetings to discuss public market views and platform offerings
  • Represent the External Investing Group in Private Wealth Management-wide presentations
  • Develop and evaluate new product/asset class ideas with client demand assessments and oversee the fund onboarding process
  • Actively fundraise for the external manager platform by connecting with private wealth advisors and their clients
  • Assist junior team members with analytical work, creation of marketing materials, portfolio construction analysis, and strategic initiatives

Requirements

  • 8-12 years of professional experience in the asset management industry
  • Specific public equity and fixed income background and experience preferred
  • Strong interest in capital markets, asset management, and understanding of traditional asset classes
  • Excellent analytical, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills to oversee production of a high volume of quality work within tight timeframes
  • Attention to detail and proven experience of delivering high levels of accuracy
  • Knowledge and understanding of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, and adaptability to other software products
