**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly experienced Migration Programme Lead to join our team at Royal London.

As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end migration projects across various business areas. Your primary goal will be to ensure seamless integration and minimal disruption to business operations during migrations.

To achieve this, you will develop and implement comprehensive migration plans, including migration strategy, scope definition, resource allocation, and documentation. You will collaborate with technical teams to guarantee smooth execution and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure their requirements are met.

You will also be responsible for monitoring project progress, identifying deviations from plan, and taking corrective actions to keep projects on track. Furthermore, you will manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting to ensure projects are delivered within agreed-upon financial constraints.

A key aspect of this role is developing a migration practice that includes a toolset incorporating templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization.

**Your Background**

To excel in this position, you should have experience leading complex migration projects with cross-functional teams across multiple parties. You must be highly competent in using ETL or ELT migration tools and staging areas for managing data translation and loading.

In addition, you should be able to translate complex data requirements to a business audience to ensure clarity of requirements. Your ability to work in an ambiguous environment, collaborate across multiple areas, and influence and spur change will be crucial in achieving success.

**The Ideal Candidate**

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills to facilitate performance within a cross-functional environment. You will be comfortable developing and delivering progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations to various audiences, including project teams, sponsors, CIOs, and key stakeholders.

Your exceptional communication skills will enable you to establish trusted adviser relationships with project stakeholders and sponsors.
