Scrum Master Opportunity at Hamiltonian Dynamics

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our growing technology team in Gloucestershire or Manchester. As a Scrum Master, you will play a key role in facilitating our Agile process, ensuring the team's effectiveness, and removing impediments to productivity and quality.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate daily scrums, sprint reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure the team's progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Be accountable for the Scrum Team's effectiveness and ensure that Agile values and principles are embraced by the team and stakeholders.
  • Remove impediments and barriers that hinder the team's productivity and quality of work, ensuring that the team can deliver high-quality products on time.
  • Coach, mentor, and guide the team and stakeholders to adopt Agile methodologies and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner to refine user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring that Product Goals and Backlog items are clear and concise.
  • Manage risks and dependencies by communicating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, ensuring that the team is aware of potential roadblocks and can plan accordingly.

Our Process

We believe in keeping things simple, so we have a two-stage interview process. The first is a chat with our recruiter, Sarah, and the next is a 1-hour Teams call with two of the team. We believe organic conversation is the best way to find out about someone.

Due to the nature of the role, you must be a UK Citizen and have lived in the UK for the last 10 years. This role requires you to hold a high-level security clearance prior to joining.

The salary banding for this role is £40-65k, depending on experience.
