Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Procurement Business Partner to join our team at Whittington Health NHS Trust. As a key member of our procurement function, you will play a critical role in driving productive collaboration between stakeholders and the Procurement function in effective management of non-pay activity within a specific Division, and generally across the Trust.

Main Responsibilities

  • To build strong working relationships with divisions to support and undertake a range of procurement projects to achieve added value and cash release savings from service efficiencies (benefits) to the Partner Trusts as well as service development to improve the profile and scope of the PPS.
  • To support and assist the Deputy Director of Procurement in the development and implementation of procurement strategy and operational objectives.
  • To support and assist with the development and implementation of robust procurement procedures in line with best procurement practice.
  • To ensure procurement compliance across all Partner Trusts with UK procurement law and Partner Trusts Standing Financial Instructions and Standing Orders in any procurement activity undertaken.
  • Responsible for contributing to a wide range of external relationships, notably NHS Supply Chain (NHSSC), Crown Commercial Service (CCS), London Procurement Partners (LPP), healthcare suppliers, consultants and Partner Trust advisors.
