About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Traffic Signals Engineer to join our team in Portsmouth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of fixed traffic signals and associated equipment for Highways England or Local Authorities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure all works are carried out with full regard for safety, supporting company H&S initiatives and reporting incidents.
  • Produce and maintain HEA/NHSS 8 Sector Scheme portfolio and associated test and handover documentation.
  • Conduct fault diagnosis on traffic signal-related products and carry out installation and commissioning works to specified designs and standards.
  • Attend traffic signal-related faults in a timely manner, ensuring contract response times are met.
Requirements
  • Valid ECS/CSCS/HEA card
  • Electrically qualified to BS 7671 wiring regulations (17th Edition) and City & Guilds Inspection & Testing
  • Ability to work at heights, in all weather conditions, and environmental conditions
  • Full UK driving licence
