We are seeking an experienced Specialist Nurse to join our team at Wrightington Wigan & Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will play a key role in implementing and further developing our innovative diagnostic service for skin cancer.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to GP urgent referrals for patients with symptoms indicating skin cancer.
- Provide rapid triage and diagnosis, advising patients on management and signposting to support services.
- Work closely with the Cancer Performance Team and Clinical team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in audit, quality, and risk management initiatives to evaluate the service.
- Represent the Trust at internal and external meetings related to the Dermatology service.
