Gas Maintenance Specialist

About the Position
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive gas maintenance and repair services to clients primarily in schools and educational facilities in Kent and East Sussex. This is a rewarding role with a competitive salary, excellent benefits, and the freedom to work independently.
Responsibilities:
Carrying out various gas maintenance and repair tasks, including servicing and inspecting boilers, water heaters, and other gas appliances, troubleshooting and diagnosing gas-related problems, and carrying out repairs and installations of gas components and systems
Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, maintaining accurate records of work performed and materials used, and responding promptly to customer requests
Collaborating effectively with colleagues and management, and participating in an on-call rota for emergency call-outs (paid at £150 per call-out)
Requirements:
A proven track record as a Commercial Gas Engineer, with current ACS qualifications and a strong understanding of health and safety regulations
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, a valid driving licence and a clean driving record, and a willingness to travel throughout Kent and East Sussex
An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one) and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
