Gas Engineer Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Gas Engineer Specialist to join our team at SGN. This is an excellent opportunity for you to develop your skills and career in the energy industry.
The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for working in outdoor environments, with a focus on repairing, replacing, and laying new gas mains and services. You will also be responsible for working as part of a team to ensure high standards of safety and technical competence.
About the Role:- Repairing, replacing, and laying new gas mains and services
- Working on gas service/mains replacement activities, excavating in public and private highways for the laying and repairing of gas pipes
- Achieving high standards of safety and technical competence
- Motivation to develop new skills and grow a career within SGN
- A friendly and approachable attitude when working as part of a team
- Excellent customer service skills
- A full and valid driving licence is essential
- Comfortable with technology (for using field-based systems)
- At least English & maths GCSE level 1-3 (or D-G) or Functional skills level 1 in both
