Deputy Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at a luxury nursing home in the Knutsford area of Cheshire.

About the Role

As our Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in assisting the Home Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring the provision of high-quality care to our residents. You will be responsible for overseeing the care staff, managing resources, and making decisions in the absence of the Home Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Home Manager in managing the home's operations and ensuring compliance with CQC standards
  • Oversee the care staff and provide guidance and support as needed
  • Manage resources, including staff, budgets, and supplies
  • Make decisions in the absence of the Home Manager
  • Engage with service users, their families, and external care professionals to understand their needs and provide excellent care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • NMC registration as a nurse
  • Relevant post-registration experience in a care setting
  • Previous experience as a Deputy Home Manager or in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
