About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health or Learning Disability nurse to join our multidisciplinary team at Ash Villa, a 15-bedded inpatient ward providing high-quality, patient-centred care.

As a Senior Acute Care Nurse, you will be responsible for managing staff, monitoring clinical standards and practice, and working closely with the Ward Manager to achieve ward targets and deliver high-quality patient care.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assess care needs and develop, implement, and evaluate programmes of care for individuals experiencing acute mental health needs.
  • Provide clinical leadership to the nursing team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve ward targets and improve patient outcomes.
  • Manage staff, providing support, supervision, and guidance to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.

Requirements

  • RMN or RNLD or RN, S/W, O/T: 1st Level Registration (NMC) or degree or equivalent.
  • Mentorship Module (degree level).
  • Evidence of specialised continued professional training (degree level) in clinical practice.
  • Current Registered Professional.
  • ENB998 / FliPS or equivalent.
