Our team is currently looking for an experienced Supplier Technical Assistance Engineer to fill an exciting new opportunity based at one of our prestigious automotive client sites in Crewe, Cheshire.

  1. Focus on product quality maturation up to part approval, APQP & PPAP sign off activities.
  2. Develop quality planning within categorised suppliers.

Salary Information

\

The estimated annual salary for this position is £55,000 - £65,000, depending on experience.

\

Job Requirements

\
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within an automotive manufacturing OEM or first-tier supply chain environment.
  • Excellent understanding of the automotive manufacturing process, quality documentation, and procedures including formal agreements such as Formel Q.
  • Operational knowledge of quality systems, tools, and techniques including: APQP/PPAP/8D/Six Sigma/problem solving/Process capability/Process auditing quality.

This interim role is expected to last between 3 and 6 months. The successful candidate will be required to undergo a basic DBS criminal record check.
