Business Support Manager for Infection Prevention and Control Operations

Job Summary:
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our busy IPC team, providing comprehensive administrative and business support, managing day-to-day operations, and supporting the team in delivering high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide effective business support to the IPC team, including diary management, high-quality minute-taking, and coordinating meetings, reports, and various project support work.
- Oversee financial administration, including budget monitoring, procurement, and invoice processing. Experience with Oracle is required.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and data analysis to support decision-making.
- Manage HR-related tasks such as recruitment, onboarding, and staff development. Experience with ESR and Trac systems is necessary.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
- Develop and implement efficient administrative processes to improve workflow and productivity.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
About the Role:
This is an interesting and fast-paced role that requires the ability to manage conflicting priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently. The successful applicant will be a self-starter with excellent planning and organisational skills, demonstrable experience in providing comprehensive business support, and a flexible and proactive approach to work.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Knowledge of information systems, including the ability to operate and manipulate data from a database.
- Advanced data analysis skills to interrogate, interpret, and present complex data to meet customer needs.
- Experience of dealing with confidential and sensitive data and appropriate maintenance and storage of records.
- Experience of operating Microsoft Office Suite.
- The ability to produce a high standard of written work.
What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary of £35,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits, including pension scheme, life assurance, and annual leave entitlement.
