About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Public Health Practitioner to join our team in the Healthy Child Programme. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with children, young people, and families to provide a clinically effective and high-quality service.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work as a member of the Healthy Child Programme team, providing a family-centred public health service to children and young people.
  • Support the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme model of care, including universal services and complex needs.
  • Collaborate with key agencies, such as Children's Services and Education, to address health inequalities and improve outcomes for families.
  • Work in partnership with the SCPHN to improve health outcomes, particularly in the six high-impact areas.
Requirements
  • NMC registration in any branch of nursing or midwifery.
  • Passion for the public health agenda and improving health outcomes for children, young people, and families.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving licence and use of a vehicle.
