About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Rockfish Dartmouth. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef in overseeing a team, ensuring food is prepared to a high standard, and building strong relationships with our front-of-house teams to deliver exceptional levels of service.

In this dynamic role, you will work closely with our award-winning chefs to create menus that showcase the freshest sustainable seafood, sourced directly from our Brixham fish market. You will be part of an energetic team that prioritizes coastal living, seafood, and community involvement.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience as a Sous or Junior Sous Chef in a similar restaurant environment
  • Able to lead and motivate a team to achieve exceptional results
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Possesses a passion for seafood and the ocean
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, maintaining attention to detail and high standards
