We are seeking a skilled Cabling Specialist to join our team at Telecon.

As a Cabling Specialist, you will be responsible for executing structured cabling projects and working on security and fibre optic projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain structured cabling systems, including CAT 5E, CAT 6, and other types of cabling.
• Label cables according to defined standards and perform necessary tests after installation.
• Maintain strong customer relations through daily contact and provide excellent customer service.
• Install new services, extra outlets, and equipment in commercial buildings.
• Assist senior and lead technicians with service calls and tasks.
• Learn and adhere to all applicable Health & Safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet company objectives.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in cabling and installation.
• Cabling Specialist Certification (CCS) is an asset.
• Valid driver's license with a clear driving record.
• Professional, trustworthy, and reliable with a strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to handle various situations calmly and efficiently.
• Ability to organize work and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Working at Heights and Fall Arrest Certification is an asset.
• Government of Canada "Reliability Status" clearance is an asset.
