About the Role
We are seeking a talented Design Manager to join our client, a privately owned residential main contractor, to take on a new scheme of cut & carve, demolition, and new build elements including RC frame and CLT structures.
Client Details
Our client is a family-owned business with a flat structure, allowing for direct responsibility and exposure to senior management. The working hours are 8am-5pm, with at least 3 days per week required on site, and some occasional work from home possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the design programme for the RC structures and oversee the subsequent delivery.
- Oversee the latter stages of close out and handover of the other 3 blocks.
Requirements
A successful Design Manager should have:
- A background as a Design Manager in residential main contracting.
- Familiarity with RC frame design and construction.
- The ability to pick up a project mid-way through.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to drive a consultant team to deliver on programme.
What We Offer
Salary between £55,000-£65,000 (depending on experience) + benefits including pension, healthcare, and discretionary bonus.
