Senior Compliance Officer

Our client, a leader in the Insurance industry, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Compliance Officer specializing in sanctions within their Compliance department. This contract position offers an exceptional opportunity to advance your career with a prestigious firm committed to integrity and excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough investigations into potential sanctions violations and ensure compliance with all relevant international sanctions laws and regulations.
- Develop and enhance policies and procedures to prevent, detect, and mitigate sanction-related activities across the business.
- Deliver comprehensive reports to senior management, highlighting potential areas of risk and recommending solutions to enhance compliance strategies.
- Facilitate training sessions for staff to raise awareness and understanding of sanction policies and compliance requirements.
- Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, sanctions laws, and regulatory changes, advising the firm on compliance matters accordingly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal and operations, to ensure cohesive risk management and regulatory practices.
- Expertise in financial crime prevention, specifically relating to sanctions compliance within the Insurance industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal documents and enforce policies effectively.
- Proven track record of developing compliance strategies and implementing procedures that reduce the risk of sanctions violations.
