About the RoleThis exciting opportunity involves working within our established and friendly team to provide essential support in relation to outpatient booking services. As a Clinic Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and operating the partial or full-booking process for identified outpatient specialties, ensuring patients are booked into appointments within local, regional, and national outpatient access targets.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and operate the partial or full-booking process for outpatient specialties
- Ensure patients are booked into appointments within access targets
- Work effectively as a team member to provide a professional and compassionate service to patients
- Communicate sensitively with patients, relatives, and staff at all levels
- Use diplomacy and tact to resolve conflicts and sensitive issues
- Educated to an acceptable standard, including GCSE level in Maths and English
- Computer literate, with experience of MS Office programmes
- A minimum of 1 year recent experience working in a customer/patient-focused environment
- Experience of dealing with the public by telephone
- Demonstrable ability to work effectively as a team member
