We are seeking a highly skilled AP/AR Specialist to join our team at Robert Walters. As an AP/AR Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the entire accounts payable and accounts receivable process, ensuring seamless financial transactions and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client/Supplier Onboarding: Develop and implement effective onboarding processes for new clients and suppliers, ensuring timely and accurate setup of accounts.
  • Daily Credit Control and Cash Flow Input: Monitor and manage daily cash flow, ensuring timely payment of invoices and maintaining accurate records.
  • Invoice Matching and Project Management: Match invoices to purchase orders and project management systems, ensuring accurate and timely payment of invoices.
  • Financial Coding and Reporting: Ensure accurate coding of invoices and maintain accurate financial records, providing regular reporting to management.
  • Employee Expense Claims: Process employee expense claims, ensuring timely and accurate reimbursement.
  • Supplier/Client Payment Allocations: Allocate payments to suppliers and clients, ensuring accurate and timely payment.
  • Monthly Reconciliation of Supplier Accounts: Reconcile supplier accounts on a monthly basis, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Company Credit Card Reconciliation: Reconcile and report on company credit card transactions on a monthly basis.
  • Weekly and Monthly Reporting: Provide regular reporting on creditor and debtor accounts, ensuring accurate and timely information.

Requirements:

  • Strong Experience in AP/AR: Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable, with a strong understanding of financial transactions and processes.
  • Multi-Currency Knowledge: Knowledge of multi-currency transactions and exchange rates.
  • Excel Skills: Strong Excel skills, with the ability to analyze and report on financial data.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and suppliers.
  • Ability to Work Under Pressure: Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
