Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Personalized Support: Assist service users with their daily living needs, including personal care, medication management, and promoting independence.
- Build Meaningful Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support.
- Contribute to a Safe Environment: Adhere to health and safety protocols, report incidents, and participate in risk assessments to maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Support Personal Growth: Encourage and assist service users in developing skills, knowledge, and social networks to enhance their overall well-being.
- Participate in Service Development: Collaborate with the team to develop, implement, and review personal plans, ensuring that service users receive tailored support.
- Continuously Develop Your Skills: Engage in training and development activities to enhance your knowledge and practice, staying up-to-date with best practices in social care.
Requirements:
- SCQF Level 6 (SVQ2) in Social Services and Healthcare: Must be willing to undertake this qualification if not already held.
- Experience in Support Work: Prior experience in a residential setting is desirable, but not essential.
