Education Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Guildford, Surrey.
The successful candidate will provide support to students with special educational needs within a mainstream secondary school setting. Responsibilities include working with the SENCo and teaching staff to support students with SEN in the classroom, providing one-to-one support to students with SEN, and recording and monitoring their progress.
We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, ongoing training and development opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package.
- Work with the SENCo and teaching staff to support students with SEN in the classroom.
- Provide one-to-one support to students with SEN as required, including behavioural, emotional, and social support.
- Record and monitor the progress of students with SEN, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
Requirements include:
- A minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification, or equivalent experience working with students with SEN.
- Experience working with students with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH.
- Knowledge of the National Curriculum and relevant policies and procedures for supporting students with SEN.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development.
