Based in Guildford, we offer opportunities and support for over 200 young adults with learning disabilities.

Job Summary

This Support Worker role involves providing person-centred support to adults with mild to moderate learning disabilities, promoting life skills, independence, social skills, leisure opportunities, educational provision, and community access.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver one-to-one support to promote life skills and independence in various settings.
  • Work in an outreach capacity on our community-based learning programme.
  • Assist learners in developing their skills and confidence in different environments.
  • Contribute to a values-based approach prioritizing the needs and well-being of learners.
Requirements
  • Good level of physical fitness and stamina.
  • Desirable: professional or personal experience of learning disabilities.
  • Advantageous: experience within a health and social care or educational setting.
  • Ambition to help others and make a positive impact.

Working Arrangements
  • Variable hours contract.

Estimated salary: £27,000 - £35,000 per annum depending on experience.
