As a Senior Programmer Analyst at Macfarlane Packaging, you will be part of a collaborative and supportive team dedicated to protecting what matters most—our people, customers, communities, and the environment.

The role involves providing guidance, support, and mentorship to a development team, delegating tasks, and ensuring timely issue resolution and project completion. You will work closely with all business departments to identify software requirements and manage software projects from start to finish.

We offer a competitive salary range of £45,000-£55,000, dependent on experience, plus bonus and flexible benefits package, 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays).

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience of VB.Net & VB6 programming, experience of using MS Azure Devops, and experience of MS SQL. A good understanding of the software development lifecycle and excellent communication skills are also essential.
