Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Ladybridge High School. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting learners across the curriculum, ensuring they secure swift progress and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to learners across the curriculum, working closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure a smooth and effective learning experience.
  • Assist with the preparation and delivery of lessons, including setting up equipment and resources.
  • Support learners with special educational needs, providing individualized support and guidance to help them access the curriculum.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with learners, staff, and parents, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for learners with special educational needs.
Requirements:
  • Teaching Assistant Level 2 qualification or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a similar role in a primary or secondary school.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with learners, staff, and parents.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to the smooth running of the school.
  • Passion for ensuring that each and every learner flourishes and feels proud of their individual achievements.
