Job Title: Therapeutic Learning Support Assistant

Empowering Learning is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapeutic Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a SEND school in Bolton. As a Therapeutic Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with Autism, promoting their emotional regulation, and fostering a nurturing environment.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Support pupils with Autism in a therapeutic and inclusive environment
  • Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with pupils
  • Assist in promoting emotional regulation and well-being
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to maximize pupil achievement
Requirements:
  • Experience in supporting children or young adults with SEND needs is desirable
  • Able to de-escalate and support emotional regulation
  • Valid DBS registration or willingness to apply
  • Availability to commit to at least 12-39 weeks
