About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Shift Leader to join our team at Tesco. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the store operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient customer experience, and leading a team of colleagues to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate store operations, including opening and closing procedures, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Lead a team of colleagues, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure they are working effectively and efficiently.
- Monitor and maintain store standards, including cleanliness, stock levels, and visual merchandising.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Work collaboratively with other teams, including management, to achieve business objectives and improve store performance.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve store operations, including process improvements and cost savings.
Requirements
- Proven leadership and management experience, preferably in a retail environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Knowledge of retail operations, including stock management, visual merchandising, and customer service.
