About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Shift Leader to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our team members are supported and empowered to deliver their best work.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team of retail professionals to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales targets
- Manage store operations, including opening and closing procedures, stock management, and visual merchandising
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, sales, and employee engagement
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless store operations and achieve business objectives
- Provide coaching and feedback to team members to enhance their skills and performance
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations
Requirements
- Proven leadership and management experience in a retail environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to motivate and develop a team
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
