About the Role

Achieving for Children is a leading provider of social care services, dedicated to supporting children and young people with disabilities. As a Social Worker in our Children with Disabilities Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that children and young people receive the support they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess the needs of children and young people with disabilities, identifying areas where specialist support is required.
  • Develop and implement care plans to meet the needs of children and young people, working closely with families, schools, and other professionals.
  • Provide direct support to children and young people, using a range of methods to communicate and engage with them.
  • Collaborate with other agencies, including health and education, to ensure that children and young people receive comprehensive support.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve services for children and young people with disabilities.

About You

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Social Worker who is passionate about supporting children and young people with disabilities. To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Social Work qualification and experience of working with children and young people with disabilities.
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and professionals.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality services that meet the needs of children and young people.
